Holidays

Well, I totally missed posting anything about the holidays but we had so many fun times that I thought I would share a few highlights:

HALLOWEEN! The girls were the cutest little witches ever! It was so fun to dress them up. We had lots of fun family parties...A little "Halloween Festival" with Grandma and Grandpa Wilding where we had yummy chilli, decorated cookies and they even had a fish pond for Makena to fish out prizes. I was a Gypsy, Grandma was Pinkalicious and the girls wore there "Nice Witch" costumes. With Shane's fam we made "Haunted Houses" out of grahm crackers and had tons of fun with all the cousins. Makena had a blast going Trick or Treating and I LOVED it too. She ran from house to house with her friends for over 2 hours and got tons of treats, it was fun watching her. Marli helped pass out candy with Papa. We loved having her here with us this Halloween.

THANKSGIVING! We had a delicious dinner with all of Shane's extended family, I think there was close to 60 people there. It was great food, great company and lots of running around with all the crazy kids. We also spent a lot of time with my family over the holiday since Mandi and Cole and also Jake and Whitney made it in town for a little while during the Thanksgiving season. It was so fun to see all of them and spend time with them. They all got to see and hold our Marli girl which was awesome! Of course Makena took full advantage of having her aunts and uncles around and played with them as much as possible, she loves them all so much. Having them around reminds us of how much we miss them when they are not here but we sure did have a great time with them!

CHRISTMAS! Well I could post like 20 pictures of all the fun times we had at Christmas but considering I have had this post half way done for over a month I am just going to highlight a few things and get it done! Our Christmas was filled with lots of family, lots of fun, lots of wonderful memories...it was perfect! Makena got a new pink bike with a basket! Just what she wanted from Santa. Marli wasn't sure what was going on but got excited with all her new toys and all the hugs and kisses from loved ones.
