SPRING

Well, it has been too long since I have posted. We have been having such a fun and busy spring. We are loving the nice weather and most of all loving watching Makena grow and learn new things and see her funny little personality come out. She will be 9 months this week, I can't believe how fast time goes by! She is getting big way too fast. She is now crawling a little bit, still pretty unsure about going forward, goes backward really well and can roll anywhere she wants. I am not used to having her so mobile and have to remind myself not to leave her on anything she can roll or crawl off of. Shane and I celebrated our B-days in April and are now officially getting old.(HaHa) Here are a few highlights of the last few months.


Easter Sunday -

I was so excited to dress her up in her new Easter dress and shoes! She looked so cute!

We have lots of birthdays in April so we got together with Shane's family and had a BBQ to celebrate. It was at Shane's sister's house and they have goats and chickens, we had fun showing them to Makena...at first she liked them until they got a little too close. It was such a fun night with Shane's family, they are great people and we love them!

Makena LOVED the swing! She just laughed and laughed while she was swinging. I guess we need to get a swing!
